Cantenbury Cathedral Piano Performance

September 2024

We are delighted to announce that Urszula Lähdeaho, the esteemed founder of Pianistas, has received another invitation to perform on the grand piano at the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral. This occasion was particularly special, as Urszula was joined by her daughter, who excels in both violin and piano, to present a captivating repertoire of duets. This remarkable opportunity not only signifies a tremendous honor but also represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for any musician.

XXVI Festival “Holiday with Music” Poland, July 2024

We are thrilled to share that our talented students recently participated in the "Holidays with Music" festival, a highlight of the International Music Interpretation Course led by the esteemed Barbara Halska. This exceptional event brought together 250 participants from Europe, Asia, and the U.S., offering them a unique opportunity to learn from top professors and celebrate classical music in the stunning Sadecki region.Our students immersed themselves in a week filled with masterclasses, performances, and collaborative music-making, enhancing their skills and forming invaluable connections with fellow musicians from around the globe.We congratulate our gifted students on their participation and achievements at the festival! Exciting Opportunity for Our Students at Guildhall School July 2024

We are excited to share that our talented students recently completed a six-day intensive course at the renowned Guildhall School of Music & Drama! This exceptional program focused on enhancing their Jazz and Rock skills, providing them with a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry.Throughout the course, our students immersed themselves in various workshops and masterclasses, gaining invaluable knowledge and insights that will undoubtedly contribute to their musical growth and creativity.We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing the incredible progress they will continue to make in their musical journeys! 🎶✨

Vamoosh Children’s violin workshop at The Royal Academy of Music April 2024

This Sunday, children attended the Vamoosh violin workshop at The Royal Academy of Music, led by Thomas Gregory and Rachel Cooper. The children engaged in fun and interactive activities where they practiced bowing techniques and learned simple melodies to enhance their violin skills. We thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and are eagerly anticipating the next musical adventure!

Artistic temperaments | Try the pianos Southampton University 2024

One of our students recently had the unique opportunity to play on keyboard instruments tuned in historical temperaments at the Artistic Temperaments Festival. The University of Southampton Music Department provided an exceptional experience by allowing the student to play the Shantz pianoforte (a modern replica of the Viennese 1802 model) and the Taskin 2-manual harpsichord (a modern replica of the Parisian 1769 model).

What a fantastic experience playing these unique instruments!

Hong Kong International Music Festival

So many passionate young Hong Kong artists and pianists from our school participated in this year’s event!

We were blown away by the professionalism, high level performances, passion and joy that our Hong Kong friends presented!. Children could listen to their peers playing instruments such as the ukulele, vocal, harp, violin and piano.

What an amazing musical journey for our passionate piano students!
